Society is in the midst of a data revolution.

Schools and other organizations now routinely collect data that allow them better prepare students to flourish as adults. Understanding the lessons contained in these data and how best to extract them plays an important role in helping teachers, administrators, and policymakers identify the challenges they face and the effects of their current practices and policies.

The Center for Administrative Data Analysis (CADA) partners with organizations to help them better utilize their data to answer their core questions and advance scientific understanding. We believe that substantial progress on important issues can be made by making better-informed decisions. Our data infrastructure and expertise enable us to conduct innovative analyses and provide novel insights. We believe that important societal questions deserve answers, and seek to help educators and others serving the public good get the evidence they need to do so more effectively.
